My little C. turned 4 yesterday! It's hard to believe he's growing up so fast. I think I love 4-year-old birthdays the very best. They are old enough to be over-the-top excited about it, and small enough to be innocent and perfectly charming.
He was thrilled with all of his presents. I had broken the news to him the day before that 1) he would NOT be getting 14 presents and 2) despite his great love for all things electronic- he would NOT be getting either his own DS or any WII/DS games at all. He was sad but got over it very quickly.
He got to blow out his candles twice, once with cousins and once with grandma and grandpa. He loved that part.It was a great day full of fun and celebrating. I hope he knows how much we love him.
