Last week L. turned 5. He came down the stairs at 6:30 and said "I'm already 5 mom!" He was so excited, I didn't have the heart to tell him he was actually born around 1 pm.
We went to McDonald's for dinner and came home to sports themed cupcakes and presents. I let him choose most everything throughout the day and he said, "Mom, It's really fun being the Birthday Boy!" I'm glad that even though we don't have a lot of money, he still felt special on his day!

Yeah, birthdays are great! I love the cupcakes, and I love the helping hand from C, LOL! Of course he didn't want to wait for dinner! Duh, mom!
